  • Living too far from in-clinic services or you are in some way prevented from accessing services

  • And more. . .

Physiotherapy is often most successful if the patient is treated immediately after their injury. Many problems can get benefit from learning what to do and not do as quickly as possible to minimize the potential of the injury to become unnecessarily worse or become chronic. I have had many patients over the years that have said they were about to call for an appointment, but then remembered what they had been taught and were able to help themselves. There are many techniques that work at home as mentioned above, including learning first aid care, precautions, safe versus harmful activity, appropriate exercises, education, etc.

There may be circumstances that will not benefit. Examples include: very acute a problem wherein pain is too extreme or the problem is too severe to be helped by home remedies; situations where more direct care or hands on therapy is required; limits or lack-of technology to allow for Virtual Care

Call today for a consultation to find out if TeleHealth is appropriate for you.
